The Guild was recently gifted a generous amount of yarn. Inspired by the weaving documentary we viewed last year, members thought that we could use the yarn to give back to the community. We’ve decided to use the yarn to weave towels for Habitat for Humanity and/ or scarves for the Cancer Center. Stephanie collected these towels to deliver now to Habitat and will collect items throughout the year, until September and deliver a second batch.
We would like this to be an ongoing outreach project. Weavers are encouraged to work together and share yarn.
