Saturday Handweavers Guild

The purpose of this organization is to contribute to the knowledge of, and provide for continuing education of weaving and related fiber arts in the local communities, and to encourage improvement of our work through comparison and sharing.

The Saturday Handweavers Guild meets
September through June, the 2nd Saturday of the month.

Our next Guild meeting is Saturday, January 10th, 2026
from 1:00 to 3:30 P.M. at the
Jacksonville Public Library, 340 West C Street,
Jacksonville, Oregon.

Our Color Challenge window:

To celebrate the 50th year anniversary of the Saturday Handweavers Guild Kathy Fennell reproduced the image “The Weaver” from the cover of the “Mary Meigs Atwater Recipe Book Patterns for Handweavers” and added the title “Saturday Handweavers Guild 1973-2023”. She used the pick-up-double weave technique on a 4 shaft loom.
